Here is the latest progress update of the P8.55 billion Flood Risk Management Project for Cagayan de Oro River which includes a 3.2-kilometer flood wall, a new 2.756-km road for evacuation, three steel slide gates, 19 flap gates, and retarding basin, among others.
As shown in these aerial photo updates by Project LUPAD, construction work has now extended from Consolacion in the north towards Paseo del Rio in the south.

Funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the flood dike project is scheduled for completion in 2022.
