Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno led today’s groundbreaking ceremony of the City Employees Socialized Housing Project located in Sitio Patpat, Barangay Lumbia. The housing project intended for City Hall employees covers 10.6 hectares and will have at least 500 housing units.
It will be developed by the City Housing and Urban Development Department (CHUDD) through Pag-IBIG financing. Each housing unit will have a 100 square meter area and owners will only have to pay about P3,000 per month as the land development will no longer be charged to them. The community is part of the city’s proposed 60-hectare township in Lumbia.
