The 22-hectare Tubajon Aquamarine Park is a marine protected area (MPA) off the northern coast of Laguindingan town in Misamis Oriental.

Established in 2002, it has a mangrove forest, a seagrass bed and a coral reef area facing the open sea. It also serves as a fish sanctuary for several species of fish.

Over the years, it has progressed into an eco-tourism site with the construction of bamboo cottages and bridges perfect for a quick getaway for friends and family enjoying nature and the sea breeze.

Ever since the start of operations of Laguindingan Airport, more and more people have visited the site with increased accessibility. Aside from the picnic cottages, kayaking, boating and even diving are now offered in the area. See the rates below.

  • Entrance fee is P30
  • Cottage rates range from P200 to P1,000
  • Kayak rental is P200/hour for double, P100/hour for single.
  • Boating rental is P300.
