The proposed new Xavier Ateneo Aggies Complex at the 109-hectare El Gaucho property which straddles Barangays Puerto and Bugo in Cagayan de Oro City is envisioned to be a self-sustaining agri-eco technopark and wellness resort.
As planned, 45 hectares will be allocated to the actual occupants for farm and residential area while the remaining 64 hectares will be utilized for educational purposes.
Here’s a closer look of the existing terrain. As indicated in the slope map, much of the property is rolling with steep hills and cliffs.
The terrain makes it a perfect site for eco-adventure and wellness park. See planned development below. The College of Agriculture’s Farming System Models will be located close to Sayre Highway while a Convergence Park will be established in the south side.
The proposed XU-El Gaucho Campus will have the following components:
1. Field Laboratories
2. Research and Training Facilities
3. Farming System Models
4. Convergence / Activity Park
The new Xavier Ateneo Aggies Complex at El Gaucho will be constructed soon once the new Manresa Campus gets approval.
