A team from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Cagayan de Oro City finished 3rd in the just concluded Hack for Gov: CERT-PH Cyber Challenge held at Robbinsdale Hotel in Manila.

USTP’s BloodHounds composed of James Ryan Gaid, Dan Niño Fabro, Kent Nacaytuna and Mark Rhoy Sabal battled for five (5) hours in the Final Round of the said competition held last Friday, August 9, which featured the top ten (10) teams coming from colleges and universities in the country. They are the only team from Mindanao in the Top 10.
