The main campus of University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Cagayan de Oro City is in the midst of a major reconstruction and development with several modern buildings already completed.
While the new buildings continue to modernize the state-owned university, a professor and alumnus of said university shared his vision of a garden park within the campus which will serve as rainwater retention ponds. As shown below, Architect Francis Aspiras designed a ‘green development’ within the campus.
He aptly titled it as “LIM-AW” sa USTP. Lim-aw is a Cebuano term which refers to a pond or pool. Watch it below.
Will the garden park materialize?
