The 24-hectare forest reserve in Manresa will be retained. This was clarified by Xavier University as it seeks approval from the Jesuit central leadership in Rome to develop a new campus in Upper Carmen which will be named Masterson Campus.

Meanwhile, the College of Agriculture will be transferred to XU’s 104-hectare property in Bugo known as El Gaucho. It will be a self-sustaining agri-eco techno-farm with of field laboratories, research and training facilities, farming system models, and convergence/activity parks. Transportation will be provided for students commuting to the new Aggie complex.
