A Cebu Pacific flight bound for Cagayan de Oro City early today, July 16, was forced to return to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) after the Airbus 320 sustained damage due to a bird strike during takeoff. 

Accordingly, all the passengers of flight 5J-381 which was scheduled to depart at 3:00am are already safe, and have now reached its destination at 8:30am using a replacement aircraft.
