Have you tried Dessert Boss’ Cocoa Butternut Loaf yet? The dark chocolate cake covered with luscious chocolate glaze and a giant nut has been the talk of the town particularly among cake lovers since it was first posted in social media last June 28.
In its latest post last July 13, who have thought they have already sold 1,500 pieces of the Cocoa Butternut Loaf? Orders have come from as far as Iligan City and Valencia City in Bukidnon with each ordering in advance from 20 to 50 pieces.
Dessert Boss is a 4-year old bakeshop along Kalambaguhan Street near Burgos Street. That’s the one with the yellow arrow. It’s also available at Google Map. In case you’re not familiar with the streets, the landmark is Jollibee-Polymedic along Don Aplolinar Velez Street the follow Kalambaguhan Street down towards Burgos.
Curious with the viral cake, we bought one last week. Each regular sized Cocoa Butternut Loaf costs P190.
Tastes are really subjective but if you love sweets, then this is a must try. By the way, they also have the Cocoa Butternut Doughnut Cake which some say tastes like the popular doughnut brands.
For orders, just visit their bakeshop at the address stated above or call them at 09278198073 (Globe). You can also message them at their Facebook page. By the way, it’s always sold out so call them in advance.
