City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) head Engr. Armen Cuenca is urging all residents to report the plate number of jeepneys and other public utility vehicles who force passengers to alight just to avoid of getting caught in the city’s anti smoke belching operations.

Accordingly, several of these incidents reached CLENRO as the city started enforcing City Ordinance No. 13102-2016. Passengers can report the plate number to the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA), City Information Office (CIO) or CLENRO through the following numbers or their Facebook pages:

Penalties for violators are: P500 (1st offense), P1,000 (2nd and subsequent offenses) and must undergo seminar on pollution control and management conducted by the LTO. Further, apprehended vehicles will have their Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) suspended for a period of 6 months to one year for the 3rd offense.
