The Cagayan de Oro Press Club (COPC), the oldest organization of journalists in the Philippines outside Metro Manila is mulling to convert its old building located along Don Apolinar Velez Street into a 12-storey structure.

The plan was presented by COPC president Ritchie Salloman (see photo by Mark Francisco below) during the recent culmination of the annual Press Freedom Week last Friday, May 31 at Philtown Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City.
