This year’s Kaamulan Festival again drew thousands of spectators. The annual ethnic cultural festival held in Malaybalay City showcases the customs and traditions of the seven tribal groups that originally inhabited Bukidnon, namely: Bukidnon, Higaonon, Talaandig, Manobo, Matigsalug, Tigwahanon and Umayamnon.

Now ever more colorful, the unique festival gathered the province’s different municipalities and cities to compete in three major contests: Float Competition, Street Dancing and Ground Presentation. Below are this year’s winners.

Float Category winners:

  • Champion: Manolo Fortich
  • 1st Runner Up: Malaybalay City
  • 2nd Runner Up: Municipality of Malitbog

Street Dancing winners:

  • Champion: Malaybalay City
  • 1st Runner Up: Municipality of Talakag
  • 2nd Runner Up: Municipality of Malitbog

Ground Competition winners:

  • Champion: Municipality of Malitbog
  • 1st Runner Up: Malaybalay City
  • 2nd Runner Up: Municipality of Talakag
