The Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) will get P3.5 million from the City Government as support for its planned K9 platoon as it strengthens security measures in the city amid recent bombing incidents in Jolo and other areas in Mindanao.
According to an article at SunStar CDO, City Hall will acquire seven (7) trained dogs costing P450,000 each. The assistance also includes the dogs’ food, vitamins, and medicine.
