Cagayan de Oro City’s Regulatory and Complaint Board (RCB) has found three inns and a hotel in the downtown area not complying with
City Ordinance No. 13394-2018 or the Cagayan de Oro Comprehensive Children’s Welfare Code of 2018.

During a surprise inspection by the RCB Team last Wednesday, February 13, three inns, namely: Beatrice Inn, King Lawrence Inn, Loft Inn, and even VIP Hotel were found to be not having a separate log book for minors checking in at the establishment, which is required in the said ordinance. All four establishments were given 10 days to comply, otherwise, penalties will be imposed notwithstanding filing of appropriate cases.
