Twelve more minors who are mostly students from Cagayan de Oro City National High School were rescued by the Regulatory and Complaint Board (RCB) Inspectorate Team together with personnel from the City Social Welfare Department at another beach resort in Barangay Bonbon, early today, January 25, 2019.
In its official Facebook page, the RCB emphasized that UNACCOMPANIED MINORS should not be allowed to enter inns, motels, hotels, resorts and similar establishments pursuant to City Ordinance No. 13394-2018, otherwise known as the Cagayan de Oro City Comprehensive Children’s Welfare Code of 2018.
Photos below show some of the minors apparently swimming inside Jesper Beach Resort in Bonbon without parents or guardians.
The said minors were brought to the Nazareth Barangay Hall for appropriate interventions in the presence of school officials and their respective parents. See post below.
