Cagayan de Oro City recently bagged a Silver Award during the 1st National Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Awards by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) held December 28, 2018 at the Manila Hotel in Manila.
Receiving the award from DILG Secretary Eduardo Año were City Councilor Romeo Calizo, co-chairman of the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), acting City Administrator Teddy Sabuga-a, Jr and DILG City Director Jane Docallos.
The city’s ADAC received a performance rating of 85.5% to get a Silver Award.
The city were among 241 outstanding local government units (LGUs) which received the award for exemplary efforts, through their ADACs, in complementing the national government’s measures to eradicate the country’s illegal drugs problem.
