On the last day of 2018, we dropped by the newly expanded J2J Cafe and Restaurant located at the corner of Don Apolinar Velez and Arch. Hayes Street in downtown Cagayan de Oro City.
As shown below, the diner known as Little Italy due to its authentic Eduardo Diego deliciously Italiana menu of Italian pizza and pasta, has occupied the space vacated by Human Nature which has relocated to a new location.
With the expansion, the diner now offers more tables to be served. Still, its Italian-inspired interior designs are evident on its walls.
J2J Cafe still offers the same affordable and delectable food with a few new additions to its Eduardo Diego deliciously Italiana menu.
By the way, the expanded section has the heritage marker on its exterior wall. Casa del Chino Ygua (Balay Nga Bato) is said to be the oldest building in Cagayan de Oro. A replica of the marker is part of its decor as shown below.
A few historical photos are also on display.
