There are only seven (7) locations in Cagayan de Oro City as of date that have been issued SPECIAL PERMITS to sell firecrackers and pyrotechnics: 4 at LIM KET KAI area, 1 at SM Downtown Premier, 1 at SM City Uptown, and 1 at Rotunda, Barangay Nazareth. This was disclosed by the City Regulatory and Complaint Board (RCB).
Accordingly, firecrackers and pyrotechnics devices which are being sold outside of the above-mentioned areas shall be confiscated and appropriate legal actions will be initiated.
