Kagayanon Jio Jalalon scored 4 of Magnolia’s last 6 points in the final three minutes as the Hotshots beat Alaska, 77-71, to take a 2-0 lead in the PBA Governors’ Cup best-of-seven finals series at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Jalalon finished with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in an all-around game.

The Hotshots trailed most of the game until its defense stifled Alaska in the final quarter limiting the Milkmen to only 6 points.

From a 71-all count with less than 3 minutes left in the game, Jalalon scored on a running pull-up jumper to give the Hotshots the lead for good. After an Alaska miss, Jalalon made 2 free throws to ice the game. More details HERE.
