Cagayan de Oro-based CarbonCycle Processing Inc., a recycling company venturing into renewable energy has just been recognized by BPI Sinag as one of this year’s Top 10 best social enterprise.
CarbonCycle Processing Inc. is pursuing the problem of energy dependency and deficiency by designing, constructing and operating solar concentrators for agricultural processing using scrap materials from informal scrap collectors who were displaced with the closure of the open dumpsite of Cagayan de Oro. The company is on a mission to replace fossil fuels with renewable source of heat and electricity for the Agrofood industry through Concentrated Solar power.
