Do you know that there are crocodiles in Bukidnon? Pulangui River is one of the Philippine Crocodile’s identified habitats. The river starts in Kalabugao in Impasug-ong town and flows south towards Valencia City then southwest to join the Rio Grande de Mindanao in the Cotabato area.

A photo courtesy of Tad Bit History of Bukidnon Facebook page shows a group of crocodile hunters with their prized catch hanging on the wall. Accordingly, the photo is displayed at Del Monte Hospital in Camp Philips, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The caption states the photo was taken in Valencia sometime during the 1930’s by American hunters which could be working at Del Monte’s pineapple fields at that time.
