The planned One Philippine Grid is now nearing realization after the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) recently held the groundbreaking ceremony for its Cable Terminal Station in Barangay Tag-ulo, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte.

The project is set to link the Dapitan facility to Santander in Cebu Province in Visayas through a 92-KM submarine cable and will interconnect the Visayas and Mindanao Islands.
