The Cagayan de Oro City’s Regulatory and Complaint Board (RCB) has appealed to operators and business owners of motels, inns, lodging houses and similar establishments in the city to comply with the regulations of City Ordinance No. 13394-2018 or the Cagayan de Oro Comprehensive Children’s Welfare Code of 2018. Otherwise, appropriate penalties will be imposed which may include but not limited to fines, closure of business and revocation of permit, among others.

In a follow-up operation conducted today, October 24, 2018, the Special Task Force checked on the status of compliance of the Notice of Violations issued to the said business establishments last 28 September 2018. The task force initially conducted investigation and inspection of various related establishments in the city due to the numerous reports of child trafficking and prostitution.
