Here are latest photo updates of the construction of the new Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) at the Port of Cagayan de Oro which is set to be completed in December this year.
As shown, walls are now being installed and exterior painting are ongoing for the facility which can accommodate 3,000 passengers daily.
As stated in previous reports, the new terminal building is considered the largest in the country.
Check-in areas will be equipped with x-ray scanning machines and walk-thru metal detectors.
The 2-storey building will have restrooms, charging stations, ticketing offices, and field offices for port and tourist police.
The terminal’s immediate vicinity will also have pay parking.
This is right across the docking areas designated for passenger ships.
