There’s a long break by the end of October and there’s an excellent spot which you might want to explore especially for adventurers and nature lovers. MOUNT PINULUTAN RANGE located in Brgy. Mapulo in Malaybalay City offers a breathtaking view of the ‘sea of clouds’.

Barangay Mapulo is located in the northeast section of Malaybalay bordering the headwaters of Pulangui River. Travel time is approximately 1 and a half hours travel from Malaybalay proper.

How to get there: Coordinate or inquire with the Malaybalay City Tourism Office for directions or if you’re familiar with Brgy. Mapulo, you can proceed to the Brgy. Hall. Accordingly, jeep fare ranges from P60 to P100.

The sea of clouds is best viewed at dawn and during sunrise as shown in the following set of photos as shared in Facebook by Rhudyard Alvizo Jr. A pre-dawn 30-minute trek from Mapulo proper to the mountain top is usually set.
