A baby seller and a registered nurse were arrested by elements of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) last September 10 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for child trafficking in violation of Republic Act 7610, or the Anti-Child Abuse Law. The case involved the alleged selling of a child of a married woman with another man in Cagayan de Oro City.

The NBI said the mother of the child will also be charged for the same offense. The baby has now been turned over to the DSWD for proper care. Full details in the link below.
