The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) is set to relocate its regional office in El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental, becoming the latest national government agency to transfer outside of Cagayan de Oro City.
As stated on its official Facebook page, the new MARINA-10 regional office will rise at a 2,000-square meter donated lot within the Government Center in El Salvador City. Photo below shows MARINA-10 Regional Director Feliza Orongan and staff at the project site.
RD Orongan is now coordinating with DPWH-10 Regional Director Zenaida Tan on the preparations of the building plans.
The approval of the 2,000-sqm lot was made just a week ago.
MARINA-10 is currently renting office space at the 2nd Floor of SE JO Lim Building along Gemilina Street in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City. See below.
Just last week, we posted about the Department of Agriculture Regional Office’s transfer also in El Salvador City.
