A junk shop along 8th Street in Nazareth was served a closure order by the City Government of Cagayan de Oro due to several violations such as operating without a business permit and violating Section 25 of the 1994 Codified Ordinance of Cagayan de Oro for operating a junk shop in a residential area.

Accordingly, the junk shop owned by a certain Mr. Niño Tagarda has been issued at least three notices of violations from the Business Permits and Licensing Division (BPLD) Joint Inspection Team.

The BPLD Joint Inspection is composed of personnel from the BPLD, City Administrator’s Office, City Task Force Demolition, RTA, City Engineering, OBO, Legal Office and the PNP.

Here’s a junk shop as seen on Google Street View. It’s right across the old Cagayan de Oro City National High School near the corner of 8th and 3rd Streets.
