Construction of the 75-foot statue of Christ The King in Barangay Samay, Gingoog City continues with preparatory works for the robe.

As shown below, the upper part including the crown, head and the arms are already done.

Scaffolding for work on the lower part / robe are now in place. But it needs more construction materials to progress.

Considered to be the tallest in Asia and first in the Philippines, the shrine is a peace offering in the areas surrounding Gingoog City and Claveria, Misamis Oriental.
