- October: Iligan, Malaybalay and Davao
The October dates are yet to be announced.
Composed of five songs, ‘The River Gold’ is an independent effort that showcases romantically charged lyrics as well as the band’s eclectic sound of dream pop and shoegazing with a splash of alternative rock.
KC Salazar (vocals and guitar), Marc Janro Abian (drums), Francis Ramos (keys) and
Rotsanjani Mojica (bass) are the four talents that make up KRNA. The band has cited Best
Coast, St. Vincent, Cynthia Alexander, Fiona Apple, The Cardigans and Feist as some of their influences.
KRNA came to being in 2016. Having known each other for several years from the local music scene, it came naturally for each member to form a group and create music together, drawing from their shared love for powerful lyrics and good harmonies. Since their formation, the Cagayan de Oro-based indie band has played in various music festivals, signed with Cebu-based indie label Bomba Press and released a handful of songs on digital platforms.
‘Wide Eyes’ and their 2017 track ‘And Ever’ are available for streaming on Spotify, iTunes,
YouTube, Soundcloud and Bandcamp.
