Former Corpus Christi standout Ernest John Felicilda now playing for Nazareth School of National University got himself a gold medal after the Bullpups, representing the Philippines, claimed the boys’ basketball title in the 10th Asean School Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a 4-game sweep.

Felicilda and the Bullpups earned the right to represent the country after winning the gold in the last Palarong Pambansa in Ilocos Sur.

The Bullpups routed host Malaysia in the finals, 87-65. Prior to the title game, they previously blasted Thailand in the semifinals, 106-71. They scored lopsided victories against Brunei (142-19) and Singapore (117-59) in the eliminations.
