The Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental has allocated P2.5 million for the planned renovation of Sapong Spring, a popular public swimming pool in Lagonglong town.

However, according to an article at SunStar CDO, the project will have to wait pending the re-acquisition of the property by the town’s local government unit (LGU).

It can be recalled that the LGU of Lagonglong lost Sapong Spring to a claimant belonging to the heirs of the real property owners. Now, the LGU is reportedly 98% sure it will re-acquire the said property thru a purchase agreement.

The fund will be used to install new beautifully designed tiles around the pool.
