The newly-completed P2.85M Community Fish Landing Center in Barangay Bonbon, Cagayan de Oro City has just been inaugurated providing local fisher folk a suitable place to display and sell their fresh catch to the public.

City Mayor Oscar Moreno along with Bureau of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Officer-in-Charge Regional Director Asuncion Maputol and Bonbon barangay chair Jacky Merto led the formal turn over ceremony of the facility which also included eight stainless fish stalls and two chest freezers donated by BFAR 10.

Meanwhile, the fish landing center will be temporarily managed by the Agricultural Productivity Office (APO) while the officers of the fisher folk association will undergo management training to be handled by APO.
