A Regional Trial Court in Cagayan de Oro City has found Australian national Peter Gerard Scully guilty beyond reasonable doubt for five counts of rape by sexual assault and one count of human trafficking.

Judge Jose Escobido of RTC Branch 37 sentenced Scully to life imprisonment together with his co-accused Carme Ann Alvarez for qualified trafficking. With regards to the charge of rape, he was likewise sentenced to 6-9 years and 11 months.

Prior to his arrest in February 2015, Scully was engaged in cybersex operations offering pay-per-view video streams of children being abused. More details in Rappler.com article below.
