
SILVER DISCOVERER, the yacht-type cruise ship operated by Silversea Cruises made a scheduled stopover in Cagayan de Oro City over the weekend as part of its Manila-Koror Asian Expedition Cruise.
The 116-guest capacity cruise ship with a crew of 100 arrived at Cagayan de Oro Port early Saturday, May 6, and was greeted with a warm welcome by local tourism officials led by Department of Tourism Regional Director May Salvana – Unchuan. The ship’s guests had a day-full of adventure and fun in the City of Golden Friendship visiting some of the city’s tourist spots like Museo de Oro and some did the city’s famed whitewater rafting.
