With more than seventy percent of its visitors coming from outside Cagayan de Oro and nearby areas, Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort located at Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental will soon have a hotel of its own. This was disclosed by Engr. Elpie Paras who said the hotel project will come in within the next two years.

In an interview by Doodzkie of Katawa CDO, Engr. Paras said the development of the hotel is now their next project since most of their guests who are from other places are always looking for a place to stay after a day of spending time at the world-class waterpark.

He added that the news about the supposed closure last month even contributed to the increase of the number of visitors who thought the waterpark might close. Engr. Paras said he doesn’t see any closure happening and that such move would be counterproductive to the tourism industry. Watch the full interview below.
