Construction continues for the 75-foot Christ The King Shrine in Barangay Samay, Gingoog City.

As shown below, the main torso has already taken shape. Accordingly, the head and arms are now being sculpted.

You can see workers at the top. The main statue is 60 feet tall from heat to foot.

The final statue actually measures 75 feet from the base to the crown. You can see the statue behind the landmark.

Meanwhile, here’s a replica of the crown on a small prayer chapel onsite.

When completed, this will become another major religious site like the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador City.
