The removal of spaghetti wires in Cagayan de Oro’s major streets have started today with the first chaotic corner along Yacapin and Osmena Streets in Cogon as the first to be cleaned of unused wires and cables.
As shown below, members of Task Force Hapsay Cable are seen onsite conducting the removal operations.
Unused wires litter the street after being cut by the task force.
Parking is temporarily enforced along the section where removal work is ongoing.
Telco personnel are shown cutting off wires.
‘Spaghetti wires’ galore….
Accordingly, this will be conducted daily moving westward to Corrales and Velez.
It’s a difficult task but as Chinese philosopher Laozi says: “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step…”
The task force work every span.
