This year’s Panaad sa Guadalupe again drew thousands. No official number yet has been released but the annual religious tradition in Cagayan de Oro City where devotees and pilgrims walk four (4) kilometers including nine (9) river crossings to reach the Guadalupe Chapel in Igbalalay Hills, Tablon continue to be a crowd drawer during the Lenten break.

If you’re tired of walking, small rafts are available on your walk back to the highway (downstream).

Local children provide wooden sticks for leverage during the 4-kilometer trek.
