Many devotees flock to Camiguin during the Holy Week to participate in the annual Panaad. But devotees and motorists trying to catch a ferry ride to Camiguin are already experiencing some sort of penitence already after being stuck in heavy traffic in Balingoan town.
Info gathered some traveled early and got caught in traffic as early as 4:00am today. As shown below, a long line of vehicles are seen along the National Highway leading to Balingoan Port.
Based on accounts, those who arrived at 4:00am finally boarded the ferry to Camiguin just before noon or a 7-hour wait. As they say it, the agony of waiting in line is itself a ‘Panaad’.
Meanwhile, FAST CAT has resumed its operations and announced that they are now fully booked for March 29 and 30 both for rolling cargoes and passengers.
Regular trips resume on Black Saturday.
