CEDAR or Center for Ecological Development and Recreation, a government reforestation project located in Impalutao, Impasug-ong, Bukidnon is one good example of government’s effort in preserving nature.

The more than 1,700-hectare area basically preserved the natural beauty perfect for adventurers and nature lovers. It has three instagrammable waterfalls – Natigbasan, Gantungan and Dila and areas for camping, outdoor picnic activities and a pool.

Getting there is very easy. CEDAR’s entrance is right along Sayre Highway. There’s a large billboard sign so you won’t miss it. By the way, entrance is a cheap P20.

The forested area is a short 200 meters from the entrance.

…and behold….the trees provide shade from the sun.

Further trekking and you’ll see the natural beauty.

Check out some photos of the waterfalls in CEDAR. The falls are less than a kilometer away from the reforestation area.

It’s a good place for bonding…but hey, lets keep our nature clean. Bring your garbage with you.
