There’s another upcoming waterpark in Misamis Oriental. TUBURAN SPRING WET ADVENTURE PARK will be located in Poblacion, El Salvador City and will have large pools with water slides, an 8-lane Palaro-standard swimming pool, a children’s park, a reception area for big events and seminars, and overnight cottages.
The project will be developed around the existing Tuburan Spring, a popular swimming resort in the city located just 500 meters from the National Highway. It also has the Birhen sa Lourdes Grotto (small chapel in photo below).
El Salvador City’s tourism is currently centered around faith tourism with Divine Mercy Shrine. But there are also other tourism potentials in the city and Tuburan Spring is just one of them.
Here’s a map of Tuburan Spring. Accessibility is not a problem as road from National Highway is all concrete.
Here are some renderings of the proposed development. This is the entrance to the park.
Here’s an aerial perspective of the proposed development. You can see a Children’s Park on the left and pools at right.
This is the reception hall for seminars and other big events.
The pool also has some slides for fun.
The park will also have an 8-lane Palaro standard swimming pool.
The Birhen sa Lourdes grotto will be preserved.
There will also be overnight cottages.
Hopefully, the proposal will push thru.
