Several areas in Cagayan de Oro City and in Tagoloan, Misamis Oiental will experience 12 hours without power this Sunday, March 18, 2018 due to a scheduled pole relocation work in Tablon affected by the Umalag Bridge Widening Project of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). Other areas in the city will also be without power but only for a few hours due to load transfer or switching.
As posted in CEPALCO’s official Facebook page, the main areas to be affected for 12 hours will be from Tagoloan Poblacion towards Agora Market area. This means that residents in all the barangays from Bugo to Lapasan which includes Puerto, Agusan, Balubal, Alae, Cugman, FS Catanico, and Gusa will have to prepare for a long day without power. Also affected is Macasandig area, Camaman-an and portions of the city proper.
