Cagayan de Oro City now has its first ever marine fish sanctuary with yesterday’s official launch at Barangay Bayabas led by City Mayor Oscar Moreno and Barangay Bayabas Chairman Eddie Abrogar and attended by local and barangay officials other concerned agencies and institution.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed outlining the efforts to protect the marine life in the area.
