Bulua’s famous landmark intersection where the giant clay jar or “banga” is located is currently undergoing a facelift. Built during the Marcos era, the “banga” symbolizes the pottery works Barangay Bulua in Cagayan de Oro City is known for.
As shown in the following photos, new decorative pavers are being placed along the perimeter of the islands.
Work is still ongoing as of this post.
Landscaping at the site badly needs the upgrade.
The area for the pavers have been cleared already.
Hopefully, the spot will be “instagrammable” when the work is done. Keep posted.
