Come January 9, 2018, the annual Traslacion or the Black Nazarene Procession in Cagayan de Oro City will revert back to its original route from St. Augustine Cathedral to Nazareno Church.
As such, major streets will be closed to traffic beginning at 4:00AM. The procession starts at 5:00AM from St. Augustine Cathedral and will pass through Fernandez Street, then turn left towards Velez Street and finally turn right along CM Recto Avenue straight towards Nazareno Church. The procession will use the northern lanes of CM Recto Avenue.
Meanwhile, roads near St. Augustine Cathedral will be closed beginning at 4:00pm on January 8, 2018 for the annual vigil.
