A late night rain on New Year’s Eve did not dampen the Kagayanons’ hearts to celebrate the New Year … and when the forecast downpour stopped an hour before the clock turned 12, all eyes were directed to the night skies above wondering what would it be like at midnight.

And finally the moment came and the fireworks, pyrotechnics and the loud bangs and sounds and displays illuminated the skies over Cagayan de Oro City. Watch this aerial coverage courtesy of Project LUPAD.

Happy New Year!!!
