Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno today, December 13, 2017, led city and barangay officials in the groundbreaking ceremony of a new 3-storey satellite hospital in Barangay Lumbia, which will serve the 12 hinterland barangays in the western part of the city and some municipalities of Bukidnon province.

The 25-bed capacity medical facility costs around P50 million and will be located right beside Boystown orphanage. The groundbreaking ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Department of Health Regional Office and Philhealth.
