The Gardens of Malasag Eco-Tourism Village located in Barangay Cugman is one of Cagayan de Oro City’s major attractions.

Owned and managed by the state-owned Philippine Tourism Authority (PTA), the 7-hectare eco-tourism site was developed in the early 1990s along the reforested slopes of Malasag Hills in Barangay Cugman, some 13 kilometers east of the city proper and 3.5 kilometers from the National Highway.

The village has a large botanical garden, a mini zoo, an aviary, replicas of tribal houses in the region, a restaurant and resort, a picnic area, a pool, a camping ground and a panoramic view of Macajalar Bay.
