Endless selfies and groufies followed the ceremonial switching of the multi-million Symphony of Lights at Cagayan de Oro City Hall.
After a series of choral groups singing Christmas carols, the façade of the historic Casa Real was literally lit up with thousands of Christmas Lights flickering through the sounds of the holiday season.
With the closure and Ysalina Bridge and connecting roads, the entire City Hall neighborhood became a virtual park for strolling.
So as not to dampen the well-prepared elaborate switching ceremony, lasers are directed to the clouds hovering over the vicinity of City Hall during the event.
Social media is now abuzz with the city’s Symphony of Lights.
